Our family absolutely loves this hidden gem of a school. My son has always felt safe, prioritized, and has made lifelong friends here. The teachers and staff are beyond amazing, and Principal Peterson’s care for his school truly shows in the love the parents and kids have for this neighborhood school.

As a former student of holiday hill i’ve got nothing bad to say about it and the two years i was there were nothing short of amazing. Broke my heart when i saw it was coming to an end.

I love this school. I went there and I loved the teachers and I loved the atmosphere of the school. With the proper funding I think it will be even better than it already is. Please do not take the school away

I’m an alumni of Holiday Hill Elementary. In a regular basis I still visit the area as I have family in the community around the school. There is great benefit in maintaining a neighborhood school. It is key and so beneficial to the Grove Park, Holiday Hill and Glynlea areas. Many a lawyer and doctors, educators, nurses, administrators, great businessmen, Homemakers, leaders, and successful individuals have been successful because of the roots that were started at Holiday Hill! It is worth fighting for and keeping open!

Hey my name is Manueal Gonzalez. I’m 36 years old. I went to Holiday Hill kindergarten through fifth grade. Have a special place in my heart for that school. I was there when we got to pick the Dolphin mascot. Are used to stay on and would go through my backyard to get to the school. The school is amazing school and the facility there were amazing. This school is a stable and a community. Tearing it down would damage the community more than anything. One That the reason people moving into that neighborhood is because of that school. If this school gets torn down, I will never forgive the people who are responsible for letting this happen.

I do not think you should close your school. It's not fair for the kids or the staff. Kid need an education! The teachers need jobs! Don't close, please. This would be a great inconvenience and disappointment for every child, parent and teacher that loves this fine institution.

Been in Glynlea/Holiday Hill over 36 years and watched as Holiday Hill Elementary educated the neighborhood’s children and was a positive influence on their lives. Neighborhood schools, especially elementary level schools, encourage a cohesiveness and sense of security in the neighborhood. This school is a social and focal point for the entire neighborhood. Don’t sacrifice it for expediency or a developer’s vision of cash.

My child was picked from the lottery to go to this school and we have been so grateful as our neighborhood school had such low grades and our other children had such a hard time in them. This school is great!
