All 3 of my children have attended this school which we traveled across town for . This school is home. This school is family. Losing this school would be such a detriment to this community and a huge disservice to the students who attend Holiday Hill. These students feel loved and secure there and get a top notch education from the staff at HHE.

We are in our first year at Holiday Hill and love it and would hate to see it close. Class size is very important and if these schools keep merging the number of children in the classes will make it difficult to have a successful learning experience.

Holiday Hill has been a huge part of our entire community, very close-knit. We bought our house on Glynlea and sent our kids to Happy Acres because of the elementary school. It is truly a bright spot for our community at large and brings wonderful families from all walks of life together.

DCPS is threatening to close our absolute gem of a school due to charter schools, private school vouchers, and the rising construction costs. The school that I attended as a child, where now my children get to walk through the doors and feel loved and welcomed every morning. Where the staff knows their names, because they aren't just a number.
This Title 1 Gifted & Academically Talented Leadership magnet school is precious to the neighborhood, the community, and my family. What a loss it would be to lose this incredible school, that s so much more than a building.
