They sell the BBC car park spaces so the money they get from that would surely pay for another year. Exactly what they spend our money on is anyone's guess apart from Frisbee things in Aberford park that no one asked for and could have put something the kids would enjoy rather than something out of the dark ages.

Such a short sighted attitude. And sadly, it's going to affect these children and their families the most. Early intervention makes so much difference. It can make all the difference! Please think, Herts LA. People's lives, their whole futures depend on you making the right choice, now.

I'm shocked! Our council did little to help my son after he was abused at his local school. Sabotaged the whole process of him finding an appropriate school and forced us into home schooling. State of special needs support is appalling.

This service is a must, for me they have been an invaluable lifeline, they have given me hope & helped enormously with my family. Please re-think this decision.

Tease arch into Good Practice dictates early "intervention " for autistic children provides a larger chance of positive outcomes. You are playing with people's lives by removing a much needed resource

The code of prectice details the importance of early identification and support. Without this much needed service families will not receive the right support at such a critical time in a child's life.

These families need this support. Until you live with Autism in the family you will never understand how challenging it can be. Helping families now results in benefits for everyone now and in the future. Dont be short sighted Herts. Please retain this service for families who really need it.

What value autism legislation when resources are being stripped away. Families abandoned. Knowledge and understanding lost. Such cuts have a huge negative impact on families. It's a campaign against the disabled.

A disastrous idea!! Families needing support will not simply and magically 'cope', without this level of support. Even if there were some other resources to go to, this would then put untold pressure on those services. This type of blind thinking is shameful and completely avoidable, given the evidence that it is only support and services that keep families going through the tough journey of autism parenting. Once you take away that understanding and support, you pave the way for family breakup. Again, putting pressure on another service.
