Short sighted, ignorant and thoroughly destructive. There is no excuse for this.

Transforming Care and Building the Right Support is failing people with Autism and those with Intellectual Disabilities. Failing to support children and their families with these diagnosis is leading to yet another lost generation. Withdrawing such support is short sighted and ineffective. Given good targeted knowledgeable support during childhood improves tge chance of people leading independant worthwhile lives when older. Not providing leads to family breakdowns and individuals ending up in expensive inappropriate often abusive care provisions as adults.

Please don't take away essential support for families coping with autism. You have to understand how desperately important it is for parents to have that lifeline.

Support Workers are exactly that. A great support for both families and child, without which some may find it difficult to cope.

Why stop helping innocent people who deserve & need this support but carry on with groups & counselling supporting criminals & drug addicts who choose that way of life & take away extra support for Innocent children who can't help being autistic! Morals & priorities of the council, police force & government are so wrong!
