I want the preservation and protection of wildlife if I move there.

As a Metcer Alum I am horrified to think they would consider this. If approved they will never see a penny from me. Despicable

I grew up around this area and it should be preserved.

It is amazing how humans think their needs are more important than other species

Forested wetlands are important carbon sinks and critical habitat for many plant and animal species. This habitat is under dire threat everywhere. We need to save what is left in the Atlanta metro area.

Making a bike trail at the expense of nature and non-human animals’ habitat is counterintuitive.

Loss of forest and wetlands is an international emergency. Think globally and act locally.

Do not destroy this vitally important wildlife area to add more concrete, people, and cars. Please leave something alone for a change. Wildlife depends on it, and ultimately so do we humans.

Nature's last stand need protecting. However, the greater realizaiton is that by destroying wildlife and insect habitat we are destroying ourselves. Vote in the interest of human beings even if you don't care about creatures. It is ignorant to do otherwise.

We need to be preserving our green spaces and REDUCING impervious surfaces, not adding them. The metro Atlanta urban areas NEED these green spaces to mitigate the effects of climate change -- lowering air temperatures, reducing CO2, mitigating storm water. Do NOT damage this fragile ecosystem that supports so much life.

Find alternatives AND use less concrete in the next location. Also, please consider safety of the walkers. As you know, the less visible stretches of Peachtree Creek Greenway have had some trouble. This location is not suitable for the inhabitants or for us the walkers.

Please stop PATH trying to destroy our wonderfully untouched natural areas with concrete. Paving our forests is ridiculous. The amount of damage - temporarily and permanently - is unnecessary, unjustified, and unprecedented. The construction will destroy the wildlife’s homes. If you take a look at all of the people-damage and graffiti in Mason Mill Park, that should discourage you immediately. We don’t need that in our woods as well as on all of our bridges, overhangs, and signs. That the County can’t keep our roads safe to travel but thinks it can maintain these paths in perpetuity delusional. We already had to foot the bill ($600k) to fix PATH’s poor construction. Please fix our roads, build sidewalks, and encourage public transportation. Don’t start something you can’t protect and fix long-term. Be better stewards of our tax dollars.

Please save this natural area from human gawkers, who would destroy the very thing they want to see. It is short-sighted to build this Path project.

Wetlands need to be protected. So much wildlife depends on it. I typically support bike paths and trails but not when they are compromising a vulnerable habitat.

PATH Foundation - please think about alternatives to concrete. There's no reason a path can't be mulch instead.
