We are a rural community on Hayling Island and we have opportunist burglaries. We need a local Police presence. I am a retired Havant Police Officer and I am very supportive of Debbie Surridge’s work on Hayling and her local knowledge which is so
important.

Common policy to always have a male and female officer on duty, you can't leave a male officer alone with children or young girls, same as a female.

PC Debbie Surridge is an amazing role model to this Island. The children respect her, she is has worked so hard with them. Debbie has done so much for our community. We don’t want to lose her due to cuts. Our Island is constantly expanding and we are in need of our positive role model.

Debbie is approachable to the whole community. With the crime rate rapidly rising we need as many police as we can on this island
