She knows the island and the people and it is shear madness to remove her as the current crime wave will escalate and cost more in resources later to resolve.

Debbie has done so much for the local community in her role - the rock wall project at the school for instance and her active involvement within the community itself for starters. We need her to stay - she is part of us and one of us. !!

Debbie goes above and beyond her role as a police officer. She has achieved so much for the community and knows the people in it well. A small island but a large community of local people and tourists. We all know the island can be difficult to travel on to especially in peak times.I would hate to be the police officer waiting for back up to arrive from off the island!

I no longer live on Hayling however growing up there we had a fully functioning police station and local force!
It is beyond ridiculous that both of these have been reduced to 2 officers!!!
Instead of cutting that in half there should be a reinstated force and station!
Going backwards is not progress, the island isn't the crime free idyllic haven many seem to think it is.
The government need to put more money into our police! Drop a few crap politicians and replace them with things the country really needs!

I have known Debbie for 25 years ,she knows the Island and Islanders and it will,be disastrous forvthevIsland if she leaves .
