Crime is rising on Hayling, as it is everywhere else, so we need an increase in police presences not a decrease. The police are no longer a deterrent to criminals.

Bearing in mind the time that even an emergency vehicle may take to reach us from Havant, a police presence is essential on Hayling Is.

There should be at least 3 officers so that 24 hour coverage is given, i.e. on paper. Annual Leave, Training etc., will eat into that. Having one officer who is subject to having leave, training commitments etc., means that Hayling has no cover at all in her absence.

Every community has their police station and is good to have ours as well ours as if there is any issue, the responding time will be shorter. We want our PC to remain here unless PC decide otherwise.

I think it’s essential to have a police presence on the island. The recent escalation in crime would suggest it is necessary

Keep at least one officer on Hayling who can be used to assist off the island if needed. Surely that makes sense? Don't isolate Hayling.

We cannot allow this to happen. Why don't the police authority turn this around and keep a permanent Police Officer on the Island who when required can leave the island to assist officers on the mainland.

Save Hayling Island if you build more houses we will need a police station again it was wrong to remove it if police are in Havant it takes them 15min to get too hayling with sirens on
