Save Hayling from losing our Police Officer, PC Debra Surridge.

There have been so many incidents on our island. We need a police presence here and yo keep the police officers we have

Keep our island safe

We need to keep a police presence on the island especially with all the recent crime going on here at the moment

Only just moved to this lovely island but there has been more than 2 serious incidents in this time....The long term residents of this island believe that Debbie has been a great asset ....so I would like to support their opinions too

Rediculous move! Typical of the local authorities. Hayling pays its fair share of property tax and should get a fair return which over the years has never happened!!!!

I strongly urge that this withdrawal of our only PC is recinded.

As per previous comments, it's not PC Surridge's wish to stop serving this community. Hopefully this will kick the local electorate into action.

Stop all the cuts , we need a bigger police presence on the island

We need more police officers, not less.

This is the second long serving officer to be moved under duress from the island both of these experienced officer knew everyone and commander a lot of respect and have served us very well. Without the goodwill of the local people it is simply ridiculous to expect ONE PC operating from an office that is not open to the public despite a massive blue light outside (presumably in case the PC gets lost) to have any effective policing capabilty on this island and god help them if they have to deal with violence etc. with back up so far away. All it takes is a major fight or incident in the bridge are to place us all in a dangerous position. This needs to be re thought and the current officer retained and properly supported

We need a local Police Officer on the island.
