The suggestion that the public toilets should be closed is outrageous and I wish to object in the strongest possible terms.

Haslemere has a large number of elderly people who are most likely to need the Public Toilets. I think a lot of trade will be lost through the closure.

I strongly object to the closure of the public conveniences in Haslemere. As I walk to and from home to the centre I use these facilities quite regularly. Not only would I regret their loss but would greatly appreciate them being kept clean, as I have to take a deep breath before going in and am very ashamed when with friends, at the appalling state of the whole premises in such a delightful town as Haslemere. Am sure I speak for many women, most elderly people and those with small children who just cannot wait until they get home.

No public toilets would take Haslemere back to the Victorian Era. We need public toilets 24/7 not smelly insanitary streets

Visitors to the town and the locals need a public toilet. If anything, we should be upgrading and improving the facility and its maintenance.

There is need for a public toilets at this location. There is no justification to change use to car-parking.

I live close to the town centre but used the public toilets from time to time, particularly while "potty" training my daughters. This is an essential public service.

Mothers and toddlers, youngsters, the elderly, those who are incontinent, shoppers - in short, any one of us - have need from time to time to find a toilet while away from home for a length of time. How is it WBC are EVEN CONSIDERING depriving it's citizens of such a basic/necessary facility???

Some citizens may well have medical conditions that cause them to use toilets either urgently or more frequently than average. It is a basic responsibility of the Council to provide and maintain them. It is utterly absurd that their abolition would create space fore more visitors to come into town.
