This is an essential part of a community which is used by many. Young and old as there is only one or 2 places in town who have a toilet available for use. Why would you ever consider taking this away? If any thing you should update it and take care of it more.

I fully support this Petition. These public toilets are an important facility for visitors and shoppers as well as local people, especially the elderly and the disabled.

This facility is vital to our town both for locals and visitors. Any town should provide such a basic item as a public toilet and Haslemere is supposedly a wealthy town.The question needs asking, what are people supposed to do? It beggars belief that a few more parking spaces take precedence over a toilet, but then again I suppose raking in more money is a higher priority to people's needs. Unbelievable!!

Please do NOT shut this very valuable town asset. We all get "caught short" from time to time and a public loo is very necessary.

Town centres all need at least one good set of public toilets - removing them disproportionately effects the most vulnerable. Please rethink this proposal

This block of toilets are crucial to lives of many, not just visitors strolling the shops but for us living here whose main purpose is to shop & don't have time (some money) to sit for or buy a drink just to take a toddler, or ones self, to the toilet. How can walks be promoted with no 'facility' available.

We strongly urge WCC to keep the Public Toilets open in Haslemere for local residents and visitors to our lovely town.. Far more important than extra car parking spaces and very short sighted!
