I bring my mother to Haslemere on a regular basis to do her shopping and each time we use the disabled toilet in the WBC block. If it closes then we will be forced to shop elsewhere. PLEASE KEEP THE PUBLIC TOILETS OPEN.

It is inconceivable that a Town as important as Haslemere, with so many shoppers, visitors and residents should not be able to offer public toilet facilities.

OK let me make sure I fully understand this...A town the size of Haslemere, always trying to attract more shoppers and visitors, is in danger of losing the only public convenience. Toilets are essential for everybody but especially the elderly,they are more useful than car parking spaces.It is worth considering that some folk,me included ,might well decide not to visit a town with no toilets ! Keep them !

The need for public toilets in Haslemere is so obvious to anyone, except maybe those who live in Godalming, Farnham or Cranleigh. who are making this proposal to close them. The question should not be closure but improvements to bring them up to a modern and hygienic standard. Jeremy Bonnett

These public toilets are very necessary to the town, especially mums shopping with toddlers and the elderly who cannot always "hold on" until they get home.

With so many public events staged in Haslemere when the toilets are regularly used, as well as our local bus drivers using them, to remove them would be yet more destruction of the retail core of Haslemere. WBC - think again please.

Having undergone treatment for prostate cancer I need access to loos - often with little warning. If these loos are closed it is simple - I will stop visiting Haslemere except for when I have no choice.

Those toilets have rescued my children from accidents on many an occasion (and were a godsend when I was pregnant on each occasion) and there is now where else to go! We travel to haslemere from a village 20 mins away so we can't exactly pop home and it will stop people using the shops if they are shut.
