This is a vital service in the town, especially for those who are not able to drive else where.It would be a major blow to the town as a whole, and it's residents if we were to lose it.

It is inconceivable that a large, busy town such as Haslemere could be without the vital services of a Post Office. Please save it!

Apart from the obvious necessity of a PO in a market town like Haslemere, this is an historic and iconic building which also needs to be kept in good use to protect it.

If the Haslemere Post Office closes, the nearest alternatives in Fernhurst or Hindhead are several miles, and up to 15 minutes drive away - but not everyone in the community who relies on the Haslemere PO can drive and the bus service is only once or twice an hour at best. Closing the PO would be devastating for such people
