I rented a home along Hanson Ave in the mid 90’s and the crepe myrtles were always so beautiful

I see no reason to replace these trees. Fredericksburg has other, bigger problems. Use the money to pay our police officers more!

The Crepe Myrtles are a gorgeous addition to Hanson Ave. They are mature and offer some serenity to this area of the city. Leave well enough alone

Keep the trees they liven up the area when they are in bloom.

Historic and I love my neighborhood because of the charm. Enough traffic in area as is. My little piece of serenity in the mass hustle and bustle being in this area.

To remove these trees and take the beauty away from Hanson Ave. would bring no benefit to this area let this bit of beauty stay!!

I'm generally a proponent of native plantings, but these trees provide such a distinctive character to the neighborhood that I would hate to see them go.

Hanson Ave, with its median of beautiful crepe myrtle trees, provides a lovely and charming gateway into the neighborhood. I live in Normandy Village at 3112 Linden Ave. Save the crepe myrtles!
