Trees were here when I moved to Fredericksburg 35 years ago. There life expectancy is over 50 years. Lots of life left. An attraction to this lovely neighbor hood where I've lived
25 years. If they need replacing should be done with more crape myrtle. The tree group tends to get a bit carried away.

These iconic crepe myrtles are an essential element of our neighborhood's character. We fell in love with driving down Hanson Avenue from the first time we saw these trees. We drive down Hanson Ave daily and live one block over. The crepe myrtles are a part of our life, they are like family. It would be a travesty to lose them.
