Grant lodge must be saved. Could someone not be allowed to renovate it and then get rent to pay for the work done.

Grant Lodge is a beautiful building. There is far too many buildings being demolished nowsadays and Grant Lodge should NOT be one of them! Cooper park wouldn't be the same without it.

I have super memories of working in Grant Lodge before the library moved to the soulless building next door. It is the perfect setting for the Registrars and Local Heritage Centre.

This is a building many will remember from their childhood as the former library. This was a once beautiful buildig that the council should be striving to preserve for the community that they are supposed to serve.

This building should be restored to its former glory I remember this Grant Lodge when it was a library & it had the most spectacular staircase inside . I believe this building would be an asset to Elgin & Coopers Park instead of giving a lump of concrete like the Town house a face lift money should be spent on a historic building like Grant Lodge no where else in Scotland has a beautiful building or a Cathedral as a back drop to its public park .....

It's a wonderful resource which was bequeathed to the people of Moray, and anywhere else would be by now repaired and restored and the home of the regional archive.

Grant Lodge should be an asset to Elgin and Moray not the millstone around Moray Councils neck that they have let it become. Utilised properly it could be a draw into Elgin, especially given the interest in family and local history these days.
