It would be horrible for the kids if they lost this.

Grace football is the reason 99% of that school even attends. These elders should play 1 more year of football without coach Henderson and see how much players turn out and want to play teams like Sierra Canyon, Oaks Christian and Westlake and lose 84-0 regularly this is honestly criminal what they are doing to these kids. As a member of Grace I have known most of these kids for 3 to 4 years and they are learning life lessons playing the sport and learning about God and Christ. They should bring back Keller

Irrationality and adherence to panic has cost our kids enough. How about we think about the kids now?

My comment is I can’t believe that the school survive without it’s sports if anything you should support them more oh my older son played for coach they went to the state championships twice one won Once and now has a great scholarship at the college of Idaho and he still talks about playing at Grace I’m very sad for what happened we are taking my younger son out Jordan and look for another school I find it sad The way you made the decision it’s already been a very hard year for all these young kids and then to throw this on top of it what were you thinking

Football creates such an amazing work ethic, team building skills, leadership, learning to deal with loss.... it's truly a disservice to your students by doing away with it.

This seems unfair to everyone involved with the football team except for the people making the decision who’s only tie is as elders of the church. This decision should seriously be reconsidered.

This was the worst news! Coach Henderson’s departure is the last straw for this mama. The elders need to keep there business in the church. Not the school. Why are they on the school board, why are they involved in any decision of the sports program? They don’t even have children who play sports. We chose grace for the education but ALSO for the football program. We are so disappointed. Disappointed in the choice to limit the football program. Disappointed in these “Elders” and how they are communicating.. or lack there of. Be transparent! Your school SHOULD be known for football, for sports. Your tuition is insane and these programs are a greenlight. Sports are a huge contributor to your numbers. How dare you limit these kids of a dream they have had. Now they have no choice but to go somewhere else. Be accountable in your bull and hold a school meeting with the parents. We are passionate about about these programs, our CHILDREN are passionate about these programs. BRING BACK KELLER. We need a head of school. We need someone else making these decisions. We are losing too many good coaches and people because of these Elders

The football program at Grace was second to none. The boys learned sportsmanship, integrity and TEAM. It would be a shame to see this program go away.

We are new to Grace and this is very disappointing. We live in one of the greatest countries and we take great pride in watching our kids play sports. Growing up locally I watched my high school win a CIF championship. The camaraderie in the community amongst children and adults was Christ filled and truly left lasting priceless memories. Present day, I’m a mom of four who all play sports. We moved to Grace for the Christ like leadership, faith based curriculum and well rounded extra curricular activities. Football is an All American Sport that financially brings in more money than most sports, unites the student body and teaches discipline/respect especially when lead by followers of Jesus. What better way to serve the Lord by continuing to raise Christian Athletes in a living environment from Grace. To the powers at be, please reinstate Grace Football.
