I am an owner of 2 condos in a beautiful historic building on east 7th. Avenue. In the past years I have seen the loss of the historic character of the neighborhood. We need to preserve this neighborhood and keep a balance of residential and commercial development. A large residential building will add to traffic congestion and detract from the quiet and walkable nature of the neighborhood.

I work at this intersection, and have seen 4 apartment complexes erected in the last 3 years. The construction is a disturbance to businesses, employees, and community members that have been here for years. We do not need more luxury housing in this area.

Please stay out of our historic Capitol Hill. Unless the developer, NOT Denver tax payers, plan to invest in the infrastructure to support the increase in traffic and adequate parking this is a terrible idea. I am sick of hearing that millennials do not have cars. YES THEY DO! This is Colorado not NYC.
