Capitol Hill is losing if the City continues to permit absurd complexes in our neighborhood. Surrounding neighborhood are also going to suffer. It's not just loss of the view that we have had for years, but sunlight! The owners have a right to sell, the buyers to build, but we must only allow building within reason and in consideration of the community. A large apartment complex? Well, ok but limit the height, 146 feet is too, too tall. Please listen to your constituents and represent us ... not an out of state developer!

Cap Hill is a historic neighborhood and has not been totally ruined by behemoth construction projects like elsewhere in the city. Please preserve the character (and already heavy density) of Denver's oldest neighborhood. We cannot support 400+ more cars.

This is way too much height and density for this area. Speer Blvd. is already choking with traffic between downtown and Cherry Creek. We have 417 new units at Grant /Loan and Speer with the Bromwell and Modera Wash Park West opening. We have 168 new units at 7th and Grant with the Aspire, plus a new six story N. of 7th and Grant and a six-story renovation at 8th and Grant. Also, 776 Lincoln LLC owns a huge plot at 8th and Lincoln that goes East to Sherman, and they probably want 10 stories or more in height. These new projects should fill in with six stories or less. We also have new 7 story hospital that opened just last year along with a nine-story hospital administration building. Less density and height for new projects, not more.

This is too big. We are too congested already. The traffic is awful without such a huge complex. New apartments are still charging horrific rents. How can this building be so tall among other giant buildings? Please, No.

Our city is overbuilt and overcrowded as is, DO NOT ALLOW Avalon Bay Communities to build in Denver! As a Denver native it makes me sick to see what's happened to our once beautiful home! Enough already, please, please, prevent this complex from adding to our downfall. It's not progress, it's a pattern of "greedy outside investments" that choke the life and beauty out of our community! Seriously, Denver has become so overpopulated it already has become a miserable place to live! Too many people and all the problems that follow. Shame on you for even considering more of the same. PROTCT WHAT'S LEFT OF OUR CITY! Please.

Absolutely NO. IT IS ALREADY TOO CONGESTED WITH NO SPACES TO PARK. MANY APTS. HAVE NO OPTIONS EXCEPT IN THE STREET. HAVE HAD TO PARK MANY TIMES THREE BLOCKS AWAY. FOR A 75 year old with groceries I can only imagine what a mess with more. Also the city is talking about taking even more spaces away and putting bike lanes! wth. I have already lost most of my Mountain View’s because of three new high rises in the area. Truly sad to think how this will downgrade this lovely neighborhood . It will be just another congested area with more problems. Really bad idea.

This absolutely should not be approved. As it is these massive apt complexes in the area aren’t being built with parking. Adding another 400+ units means another potential 400 cars in an already extremely congested neighborhood.

People move to Capitol Hill to get AWAY from the high rises in Denver. The construction will be long, noisy and cause major traffic and parking issues. Not to mention the overwhelming impact it will have on local business and Trader Joe's. Save our park and our views!!
