If people don't like getting tickets for speeding in school zones, will we remove school zones as well?

Baton Rouge needs more bike lanes and sidewalks. Removing either of them is a step backwards not forward.

Bike lanes help protect cyclist while improving vehicular traffic when bikes are present on roadways. Removing the lane will waste tax dollars and endanger cyclists.

Keep our exisiting bike lanes, and add more! With the outrageous level of driver distraction I see every day, we need them more than ever. I saw a woman reading a paperback book on her steering wheel last week.

Bike lanes can be life-saving, besides adding to the charm and livability of our neighborhood!

Progressive cities throughout the U.S. are putting forth major efforts to make their cities pedestrian friendly. Hopefully Baton Rouge will follow suit. It makes sense.
Baton Rouge lacks badly compared to other cities in bike paths, sidewalks and running paths.
City residents should be encouraging a pedestrian friendly city instead of trying to discourage it.
Move forward, not backward.
