Being a public school teacher and having worked with kids with special needs, I think this is a school that needs to remain open to support their students and future students to come

My family friend’s son went here. I consider this boy my grandson. I have seen so much personal growth. He has learned and changed so much. I am so thankful he had a support system that helped him.

This school is necessary for these students who attend to thrive. Please do not close it. It would be an absolute disservice to these students

My daughter has attended Giant Steps in IL all of her school life. She now is 27 and in their Canopy transition program. You can’t stop educating these children and young adults as their lives depend on the individualized learning! We may be in a pandemic but we are also in an autism pandemic and we cannot turn our backs on these vulnerable individuals. God help us all if they do not get the appropriate learning supports and care they need and deserve.

I am a Lmsw and I knew a student at this school. I witnessed all the amazing progress he has made over the years. Loosing this school would be horrible for the current students and teachers.
