why is it now a no wake zone ? is a tragedy that the lake patrol has any say so what so ever in this ..... water skiers are always pro active in lake and shoreline protection .... BAN The surf boats

What harm is the water skiing doing to the environment? This sounds like a bureaucratic decision rather than one based on reason. Neighbors are on board, coarse pre-dates the no wake zone. How can this be a problem. Let the man ski!

There is no harm in Mr. Ward skiing on the coarse he has spent years digging and working on. People need to learn to leave a good thing alone.

If all the neighbors don't have a problem with your dad skiing and brings more joy to everyone's life on the lake and everyone's else that gets to watch I see no logical reason why the man shouldn't be able to ski! Things like this is what makes East Texas unique I'm all in for it staying!

Let me know if there is ANY thing that I can do to help and/or organize to stop this nonsense!!! Where do we march?!! Watching your Dad ski gave me goosebumps! The best memory though was him asking Harris to "teach" him how to solemn with Scot driving the boat when he first met the family...the BEST prank EVER!!!
