Have skied and wakeboarded around the course ever since I was little, even on windy days the water there is still smooth. Hate to see it go

George is the nicest custodian of that lake. With all the work he performed in creating his dream, he also improved the water retention for the community that is steadily growing. The City of Tyler must let this gentleman enjoy the fruits of his labor. And don't forget George Ward also cleaned the mouth of the channel when the lake was terribly low and passage was nearly impossible. Leave this land owner alone!

Wow, I can't believe this. George has poured his heart and soul into the Tyler Ski Club and this ski course, and it would be a true loss if it was shut down. Many students from the UT ski team as well as from other places as well have learned to ski out here. There have never been any incidents that would cause safety concerns either. This is simply the Tyler Lake Patrol flexing their proverbial wit in order to "stick it to us." I hope this makes it through.

It may have been just a few weekends but I helped and watched them build this and he was very passionate about it

He has been skiing on this course for years, so it's not fair to let a bunch of punks who acted like idiots over Memorial weekend to ruin it for him!
