Save Gates Circle

I support this petition. I object to rezoning this property to allow a shopping center.

Totally unnecessary.

This space is large enough for a super Walmart. I am all for development, as long as it is fit for purpose. The city has a responsibility to its constituents to protect the property values of its neighborhoods. The current values of the surrounding neighborhoods is put at risk with the wrong development.

Don't give up charm of neighborhood for big box retail!!

No public reason for blanket commercial zoning; very detrimental to surrounding neighborhoods and the greater city of Buffalo

I'm all for development - just slowly and carefully so as not to destroy the character of one of Buffalo's finest neighborhoods. A broad-scope zoning change would do just that.

There's plenty of commercial space in the city, don't rezone

Please do right by our neighborhood and our landmark.

What is meant by "shopping center"? Not appropriate for this location.

Gates Circle (originally Chapin Place) is a landmark location in Frederick Law Olmsted's "Best Planned City in the World". Let's not tamper with perfection.

no. Elmwood district is doing well for a reason. enough with the investors already. residential is fine. stop trying to reinvent the wheel.
