Save French 2 or we are through! Without the French 2 program, how will we continue our world language education? How will we be able to communicate to a peer from a french speaking country fluently? We can't, without a teacher who takes the time to teach us something, like Mrs. Rioux.
P.S.- Don't forget to tell other people to sign the petition as well! The more signatures, the better. We're almost to 100, keep the signatures coming!

I am a French teacher as well and have already seen the closing of French programs in my school district. I strongly believe that students deserve the right to choose among many languages and that French still plays an important role in the world as it is spoken on all continents and is growing in Africa in particular.
Kids who love their language class? Unheard of! How can you possibly take that away? If it really has to be cut then the only fair thing to do is to cut it gradually. Don't offer the langauge to incoming students but allow those in the program already to continue through graduation. You cannot take a useful program that has also obviously stimulated and excited young minds enough to petition its removal.
Please save this program or at the very least allow the students who are currently enrolled in the 6th and 7th grades to finish their education by gradually ending the program over the next two years.
A lot of my friends take this class and love to be taught by Mrs. Rioux. We need the French 2 class.
I took French beginners and 1, and I strongly believe there should be a French 2 class for striving students like myself

Please keep this program, the teacher is amazing and my daughter loves this class.
