It’s a newer school. My hall is much older & it makes no since and why does Old Lincoln still exist plus the school over by North East side of town(forget the name) is really almost at edge of Kane County plus with new resident area being built you’ll be overcrowded by 2019-2020. I am a tax payer. For past 40 years. Quite playing around with these kids. Just wait a bit, please!!!

Many people bought their homes in this neighborhood because there was a school there. It’s not fair to have few regular people making decisions that will affect so many.If the property is sold to something that is retail or industrial, the values of the homes in this neighborhood will bottom out. Do that to your own neighborhood not ours!

This was a complete shock to my family. There are so many contradicting statements in this presentation that I don't get the feeling this was a very thought out plan. You don't have to be a genius to know that stats/numbers can be used/manipulated to support your side of an argument. Plus, when presenting something this controversial the district needs to have someone that is not going to show frustration or got flustered by legitimate questions from it's stakeholders that want what's best for their children.

It is a travesty that such a beautifully functioning school should be closed, and with so little warning! The school board should reconsider the idea of closing Fox Ridge Elementary School. There must be a better way.

I would like our board first to explore other options and if they vote to move forward ensure they can explain in DETAIL and with specificity why and what we get out of closing/repurposing a great school like Fox Ridge. To date, there is a significant opportunity here.
