Please do not close this elementary school down. These children need your guidance and provisions of high quality education. It is disheartening for a parent to face this. As one parent to another, I implore you to keep this school running.

My family lives in St. Charles and is very involved with the community having 3 young boys attending school. It would devastating for them to be pulled out of Fox Ridge and possibly sent to different schools. They love Fox Ridge and their teachers. Please see beyond the dollars and look into their hearts!

It is a shame to see an elementary school might close with very little information available to the public. All we know is that it might save some money (pennies on the dollar) but at what cost? "Early childhood development" does not require a building that size or resources of that nature. And even that is just cited as a possibility. The public needs more information to make an educated decision. St. Charles and the entire tri-city area is a flourishing community. We do not need to shut down a school. This will only overpopulate the classrooms, which in turn will make it even harder on these teachers to educate and develop them as people. This just sounds like a way to pinch pennies so the local government can keep their pockets fat. Show us where our money goes. Show us your pay stubs. Show us how shutting down an elementary school is going to benefit this community.

PLEASE save our school! We moved here so our kids could attend this great school. The staff has been so helpful. It’s one of the bigger schools that should stay open for more students as families keep moving into the area. The houses that go on the market aren’t there for long because young families want to move in here. Teachers shouldn’t have to lose their jobs. There has to be other options.
