I have a son who currently attends Fox Ridge school. He has been working hard with the transition from another school. He has started to make good friends & is very comfortable with his teacher. Now all of that is up in the air for monetary reasons. This is truly unfortunate.

Not only is this school great, but it is ADA compliant. What is the thought process here when other schools in the district are much older, less kids attend them, and there is no grass to play in at one! This makes NO sense! Keep our kids the priority.
Not to mention..... This will impact property values in our neighborhood. Please keep Fox Ridge open!

My son attends kindergarten at Foxridge and it’s important to focus on the children and not on money. Closing this school is a focus on greed and not on children. My son experiences anxiety and it will add to his anxiety to require him to attend 3 schools in 3 years (preschool, Foxridge and then another school).

People purchase Homes with the schools as a priority !!!! Now to change the school really changes the value of the homes near the school !!!!! Very sad !!!!

I went to Fox Ridge, and it was some of the best years of my life! I think that, if anything, decrease another school, because Fox Ridge is in a prime location that isn’t close to any other elementary school, plus it’s surrounded by neighborhoods where the young kids go to school there. Fox Ridge is a school unlike any other, and I’ll be very disappointed and upset if this plan were to go through.

Fox Ridge Elementary is the only reason my husband and I moved into Cambridge East. The school is literally in my back yard and both my children (2nd &4th grade) love walking to school and having the playground to go all the time. The principal and staff are absolutely amazing and it’s just heart breaking to think of them all getting split up. That school is just too good to be shut down!!! The D303 administration and board members need to listen to their community and rethink this idea. Redo the boundaries to include our school. Please let my kids and all future kids in this area be able to experience what a wonderful school Fox Ridge and the entire staff is!!!
