Our dog loves this run, this is the only space around here where she can truly run free as she is not great off-leash. Happy to help maintain it as needed. It is a great use for this space for our community which would otherize go unused. We need it!

This dog run has been the best for my pup and I. It is really the only fenced in space that is central to the Clinton Hill/Fort Greene area. All dogs and people I've met here since going last summer are extremely respectful of the space and of each other.

My puppy pulls me to this dog run on every walk! Please open it up so she can continue to get exercise and socialization!

This dog run in the only enclosed dog space in the neighborhood. Prior to it being a dog run, it was merely a space where maintenance had to regularly place rat traps and spray for pests. Permanently converting it to a dog run would reduce the maintainence in that way - keeping pests away without all the poisons. We don’t want poisons near our schools and playgrounds. Consider making this a dog run permanently a new form of bioremediation!

This is the only enclosed space within a mile where our dogs can run. The dogs love it and the humans do too. It add to our community it a great way. Please help us bring it back! We will be more than willing to help maintain the space. Thank you!

Hi, we use this dog run often and would be happy to sign up for a regular slot to take care of the run. I think a simple signup form online would be easy for residents to manage. The run is very low maintenance. The kids at the school love watching the dogs play, too!

This dog run is VITAL for local dog parents and pups, ESPECIALLY for those of us with high energy dogs who NEED exercise! The only other local option is off-leash hours at Fort Greene Park, which is nice but limits us to the early hours before 9am or having to wait until after 9pm. And MANY of us can't always do that, if at all. All dogs and their parents are respectful of the space, clean up after themselves, and look out for one another. Don't do this to Dolly and her furry friends!!!

This run has been a life saver for us to help our doggie boy get his exercise in and be apart of the community. We miss our fellow dog run friends

Dog parks help turn our city into a true community of neighbors who can meet over new puppies and learn from the older dogs. We have too few places already to be outside in a safe place for our puppies and dogs - we can't afford to lose another dog park.

This dog park has been a life saver for our puppy Leo who needs to burn off energy in the middle of the day and isn't ready to go off leash in Ft Greene Park. He still tries to go there every day since it's been closed and I can't endure many more sad looks from him. He met so many great new dog friends there, too.

With no other 24/7 areas for a dog to run, making this location official would be a huge boon to the neighborhood. It could also alleviate pressure on Ft Greene Park's off leash hours, allowing folks an alternative during midday hours.

This dog run was a lifesaver when we got our pup! There is nothing else like that in the area, and there are so many dogs. Please, please re-open!

I know so many of us would happily volunteer to maintain the area, keep it cleanly and safe. We just need the parks Department to let us know how we need to organize to make that happen.

This area has been great for us and our dog. It allows for socialization in a safe fenced in area. Please keep this around!

My one year old Shih Tzu, Otis, is a much happier doggie when he is able to run around in a safe enclosure. This space has been wonderful for him.
