Help Save the Fort Greene Dog Run!

This dog run has provided a clean, safe place for my dog to play. Great addition to the neighborhood.

Having a big dog in this area, it’s difficult to find enough space for him to run around. Please turn this into an official dog park!

This run has been so helpful with my golden retriever!! He can’t be off leash and this is the closest fenced in area to our place. Please make it an official dog park!

This serves the community and the wonderful dogs that are apart of it. Dog parents and the pups need this space past off leash hours for dogs to socialize and expend their extra energy out throughout the day. I'd be more than happy to do my part in maintaining it.

This is the best dog run, especially for training, as it is small enough to teach dogs recall and new tricks as well as let them get their zoomies out. We love it here!

Please save this dog run! This is the only dog run that is close to my home. I used to bring my dog there on a weekly basis. Please. She doesn't have much room in my tiny apartment.

This dog run is regularly used (in general and by us), and is very helpful to have available for dogs who are unable to be off-leash at Fort Greene park, and to have something available throughout the day (as opposed to just before or after 9am/pm). The hard part has already been done in that the space is already there. I'd happily volunteer to help with maintenance!

My roommates dog Aslan absolutely loved this dog park and with all of us working this was truly a joy and special place that he got to go with us when we got to spend time together. It is such a great park and the dog really love to socialize there together. Bringing this dog park back would really help not only the well being of many dogs in this community but also the peace of mind of many NYC resident dog owner.

We need more safe spaces for our dogs not less. Keep this open, make it permanent please

This is a necessary space for those that have dogs that can't be off-leash or owners that can make it to Fort Greene Park during off-leash times. Also, as the park cuts down access to dogs in the park, this little space helps with the growing population of dogs in our neighborhood. There are many benefits of having an area where dog owners can gather. That's how I became close friends to many of my neighbors. Spaces for dogs make our community better for all!

As a healthy retired person, I'd be happy to contribute time/energy for upkeep of such a valuable resource!

Having a fenced dog run in Fort Greene would be amazing as there is no fenced place to take pups currently.
