Dog runs are very much needed in our community. Many community members are willing to do what it takes to reopen the space as a dog run and to help maintain it as necessary.

Please help save this run. I know that it technically isn’t official, but we can make it so! It’s been a godsend during the pandemic and I’ve met so many wonderful people and puppers there!

As a pet parent I understand dog parks are more than a wonderful place to have pups play, socialize and feel free in the city. Same goes for the pet owners. Dog parks provide a critical network for people and pets in addition to keeping active. For some the dog park is the highlight of their day. The spirit of community and volunteerism would be lost: please bring back this park for all to enjoy!

This dog run is so valuable to the neighborhood. The closest dog runs to this location are Von King (1.4 miles) or Dumbo (1.6 miles). Between the hours of 9am and 9pm there are no places for dogs to run for literally miles around!

we love the dog run! It brings my dog so much joy and would HATE to see it go, especially as there are no other places near by, we go every day and miss it so much! Would be happy to do my part in maintaining it!

This space has been so important to me as an alternative to the park, which only allows off leash play before/after 9am/pm.

This is a place I take my husky to play and it’s the only dog park around. We want to save this dog run for our dogs so they could play around and not be stuck with leash walking around .
