Please save this community resource. It’s all we have for our puppers in Fort Greene.

With so many pups in the neighborhood, we really need this space! Without it, people's pets will up intruding on spaces like playgrounds. Please keep the dog run open!

I support the dog run becoming official and supported by the City with upkeep and amenities provided by the Parks Dept and possibly expanded. It is wiser to have a dedicated space that users will contribute to its care than to let our dogs go into other spaces where families may lay or use for enjoyment.

There are NO official dog runs in Clinton Hill and Ft Greene. This was an awesome solution, and now we have to take our dog to Underwood Park at strange hours. I fear it's more likely to have rat poison so we really don't have any options currently. HELP!

I walk my family's dog in that section of Brooklyn 2x a week and appreciate having a place for the dogs to be off-lease.

With the addition of more dogs to the neighborhood due to the surge in pandemic-related adoptions (amazing!!), as well as the increased ability of owners who are now more able to provide their dogs with outside playtime, this dog run is essential in providing a safe enclosed area for these activities. Additionally, it would provide an overflow area and take stress off of Fort Greene park. Thank you!

I’ve gotten to know so many of my neighbors thanks to this dog run. It’s such a shame to see this space sit locked and abandoned knowing the whole community has benefited so greatly when it was open. Many surrounding neighborhoods have seen the benefits of a dog run, it’s time for Fort Greene/Clinton Hill to catch up. Let’s make it official so our dogs have a place to socialize safely again. Please let me know how I can help!

Let us have the only fenced-in area for dogs in Fort Green and Clinton Hill. It is absurd that there are no dog runs in these neighborhoods and that the city closed the only viable option.
