There is already limited parking, thus the development will add more congestion and create difficulty parking in the summer and especially winter months.

This space is not very big and needs to be kept green! We’re already crowded back here.

I am against putting a multi unit development site on Forsythe Square taking one more thing away from residents

Stop the building of multi-unit apartments! There are already enough problems in that area will the present units.

It looks like everyone in the neighborhood voted against this. I can guess next thing they'll vote against.

Forsythe Square provides our children with a safe place to play in the summer. It adds to the open, natural, and peaceful look of the area. Please keep this as public green space.

The neighbors should have notified and a public hearing should have been held prior to the action of the council.

They will just turn into Section 9 housing since they are right across the street. Plus kids have a place to play. they play football all the time there.

This section of the city has already become too crowded. There are apartment buildings on two of the four corners. 119th Street is the only entrance to Forsythe Park. There is no parking. This IS NOT improving Hammond.

I agree! Stop this development! Who on the city council stands to benefit financially by this project who has a financial interest?

I live directly at the corner of this lot and enjoyed many good childhood experiences playing in that lot. It would be shameful to take that away from children and adults who enjoy it for recreation.

I found out about this when I seen the markers. I don't like how the council just up and decided to do this. how about asking the people who live there. This little space here is where my kids and other kids go and play football and baseball and adults take their pets to play catch. There is no parking as it is. You politician don't even live around here so how can you know what is right for housing. Put these houses somewhere it is not crowed. This is a shame. Put something for the kids no to put more money in the politician or Mayors pockets.
