I am opposed to the building on Forsythe Square. Last time I checked the City Council is supposed to work for the residents of Hammond. This is the same as the conversion of the "green space" of Clark Field into asphalt and concrete. Looks like the City Council and mayor should talk to the local residents before destroying the few green spaces we have left. Of all the conversations I've had with local residents no one wants to lose Forsythe Square or Clark Field.

Building there would definitely congest those narrow streets. Also it’s going to ruin the beauty of the area. Leave it alone!

We do not need to develop every area of greenspace. Leaving it alone far outweighs the minuscule monetary benefits .

It makes no sense to build on this green space. There are enough houses and apartment buildings here. I enjoy the green space. Plant more trees and add benches.

You can't pack a bunch of housing in a small area. It will turn into an eyesore and problems.
