I just can't believe that Wigan Council would even consider asking Trish and the team to leave. They have single handedly pumped money and a great deal of time into Pennington Park and made it into a great success. WIgan council should be prosecuted!

Hope that the people who are running the tea rooms at the moment are successful and win the franchise they have worked so hard especially at this time of year when they have laid on a Christmas meal for anyone who is in need of company or a meal whether they be pensioners or homeless people. Good luck hope to see in the future.

The volunteers have done a great job of the cafe & organised some great events, including the WW1 event & Santa's Grotto. They even worked with Gilded Hollins School to organise a summer fayre when the school was closed, which was fabulous for the children & school.

Let's oppose the sitting councillors at the next local elections and elect people who will actually represent the people of the area.
