I visited this cafe when it first opened, it brought back many happy memories from my childhood when there was a cafe and sweet shop there.
The cafe has brought a whole new welcoming feel to the park that has sadly been missing for years.
The volunteers have done an amazing job and it would be utterly disgusting if they where not allowed to continue.

Save these tea rooms as it's the hub of the community and do wonderful things for the lonely and those in need of a smiling face and chat. A must to be left alone.

Please show gratitude and integrity by allowing The Friends of Pennington Hall Park voluntary group to continue and extend their lease on the Cafe they set up in the rundown building within parks grounds. They are so valued by so many because of all the love and hard work they have invested in it. No business can provide their unique gift to the community.

I visit the park and cafe regularly with my grandson, it will be a travesty if the cafe closes or changes hands, they have brought the park to life again.

This cafe has been well run by the volunteers, from an old run down ex shop to a lovely welcoming cafe they organise several events throughout the year all of which will be a massive loss to the local community if this is tendered out to a private firm

So upset for the volunteers who have made the park a wonderful place to visit through honest endeavour and hard work.
