I am absolutely disgusted that Wigan Council have given the voluntary workers of Pennington tea rooms 6 months to get out when they have brought Pennington park to the way it is now.

This is a fabulous little cafe. All the hard work the volunteers put in has boiled down to greed. Wigan council are disgraceful.

The cafe has been an essential part of the park as long as i can remember .it should nor be taken away from the people of Leigh as it is a fundamental piece of the local community.wmbc CANNOT KEEP TAKING FROM LEIGH .THEY HAVE ENOUGH FUNDS FOR BRASH PROJECTS IN WIGAN.LEIGH CANNOT BE USED TO FUND THESE WHITE ELEPHANTS

The friends of the park do a great job and have made massive improvements to the park, woukd be such a shame for anything to change

Please do not close Pennington Tea Rooms down, it is the main hub in the local community who has given so much life to our park. The volunteers are outstanding and have dedicated their time to help others. Isn't this what The Deal, Wigan council often refer to, is all about?
