Would be devastated to see this little gem go. Has broughthe so much life back to this lovely park. A real community hub. The people running this have done a magnificent job. Do not let this happen!!!

They have single handedly revived Pennington Park. This is a huge error of judgement by the council!

As part of The Deal, promoting and encouraging residence to contribute in society, how is the council embracing the valuable opportunity this provision provides to the volunteers to socialise, learn skills and put something back into community? Day centres and social opportunities, especially for older people are being taken away, causing isolation and mental health problems.......We Believe...do you really???

This is disgraceful. Run voluntarily by people who put their heart into it. Wigan Council should be ashamed of themselves. It's all about money and profit and greed.
