So these guys take over a derilct site, turn into a success, turn a profit and now the council wants it back ? Way to go ! You guys are the reason politicians suck.

Both Pennington and Lilford Parks are currently and have been part of the fabric of Leigh for many years...keeping the community volunteers shouldn't be in question, they should be encouraged, not discourage for outside financial gains who wouldn't put the interest of the park first...good luck with the partition

Wigan Council you are a disgrace! Pennington Tea rooms has brought life back to a once run down park. It is so much more than a cafe, it is a place that the community comes together and is proud of. Shame on you.
