We love this cafe & the volunteers really make it for us. A great reason to visit the park.

I've visited this lovely little cafe several times. The food it's lovely and the staff friendly. It's a credit to the park and it's hardly fair that the current tenents should be ousted in the favour of profit.

How sad to close such a great community facility .so much has been put into the cafe by volunteers and organising other events . They should be allowed to stay .

As this enterprise is being put out to tender. We are asking that Trisha Taylor be able to continue what she has been doing successfully. The place has come alive because of all her hard work.

Absolutely disgraceful, these people have made a success from nothing. If they had not made it successful the Council would have nothing to put out to tender. All they can see is £ signs with no regard to the voluntary work done to make it what it is. Typical Wigan attitude to Leigh.

I have moved out of the area to Latchford. But I have very fond memories of Pennington Park. Why would you want to axe something that obviously gives pleasure to the local community? You know the story of David and Goliath? Well watch out Wigan Council. David won't stand for this.
