Wigan council are a disgrace. Selling off all public assets outside of Wigan town centre for measly profits and usually to crooked hand picked buyers. It stinks.

Probably the greatest place in this whole council for a lovely community to come together. Cannot get my head around why they'd want to get rid of it. Obviously some motive of selfishness in there.

I find it appalling that the council have decided they want to do this after all the hard work these people have put it to making it what it is

A group of people take on a run down building that nobody else wants, renovate it and establish a community hub that works. Then the council step in to take the profits - they should hang their heads in shame !

We have recently moved to Oz from Tyldesley. We used this place regularly. A nice pleasant place to visit. Shame on Wigan council.

The park cafe brings people together which helps to rebuild communities. It gives mums with toddlers a place to chat during the day; it encourages our OAPs to leave the house and find company and it helps children to want to go to the park and enjoy the benefits of a healthier, active lifestyle. If you cannot see this, you are inhuman.

Im from New Zealand and visited the tea rooms in July when I came to visit my mother. These people deserve a lease Roll over and not put out to Tender. They have proved that they have got the recipe right. Why change it now if it isn't broken.
