This lovely little place should be allowed to stay!!built up by volunteers-why must everything come down to cold hard cash?what about the sense of community that has been built up here?something thats been snatched away from our towns and villages,by money hungry councils!

The volunteers who run this cafe have breathed life back into this park and have done loads for the community. This effects all us local residents. WMBC please listen and leave well alone, there is more to running a local community than profit margins.

This cafe is a treasured and well loved meeting place. Wigan Council should be PROUD that we have this facility, run by VOLUNTEERS! NOT EVERYTHING IS ABOUT PROFIT! LEAVE OUR CAFE ALONE....

This park was doing nothing and going nowhere until these people brought it back to life now wigan want to come in and destroy the place like they have done to leigh in the past ....NO

This cafe is such a lovely addition to the park run by hard working volunteers who want to better their community. What message are you sending to our young people if you shut them down? This is so much more than a lovely cafe.

Shame on Wigan Council for their actions re: the tea rooms. We've already lost the Formby Hall and the Rose Centre in Lowton, now we they want us to lose the tea rooms as well!!
