I am disgusted at the thought of this tea room closing. We have visited the park and tea room almost every weekend and we're looking forward to enjoying the community feel and events with our newborn son over the coming years. Please do not close it!!! Our community needs it!!!!!

What Wigan council are trying to do is utterly disgusting. If this, like every other petition to cross a politician's desk, falls on deaf ears, I hope everyone boycotts their new venture.

This is a lovely little tea room and I fear if it went to a business as opposed to being volunteer run it will hike up the prices and will lose all its charm.
