Wigan council need to stop being so greedy and leave this icon of Pennington park alone. They have done wonders for this area in Leigh. Oh of course it's Leigh not Wigan. Oh well!!

Pennington Park a big part of my childhood. These people who run the Cafe have done such an excellent job for the Community, let them carry on their excellent work!!

Just moved to the area and been there 3/4 times! always enjoyable for our little one and you get a real sense of the community feel (which is lacking these days)

What a joke all that hatd work, the building does belong to the council and they can see money being made so they take it away. They should let them buy it cheep as it was a right mess proviously or let the rent it cheep and but the funds to the community to be used for free activities ect

You can't close the tea rooms it's so popular with the local community. its what makes Pennington park popular for mums with young children, with out the tea rooms we'll go to bents !

We attend every event the tea rooms host !! The park would be nothing without them !! Don't ruin a good thing all because you the council wants to make a profit !!
