Aspen Ice has been a safe place for our children to be, and to grow and to stay out of trouble. My son plays hockey there, goes there to watch hockey games from the high school and from the sled hockey team. He goes there on Friday night for DJ skate. Aspen employees and parents were and still are, a great support for our family in the most difficult times.

this is one of the only recreational facilities left in this town. people wonder why there is such a drug and alcohol problem. ever think it's because there's not enough recreational things for kids to do around here?

i have played here for 10 years and worked here for 5. This kids are a huge part of my life. On any other day I will refuse to get up at 5 am but when it is to coach these kids I have no problem because they are the future.

Myself and team have been proud to be a part of and see Bill Auld really develop the adult men's hockey league into one of the best run leagues in the state.

This rink is a second home for my boys. A home where they have found an extended family. They are not only learning skills but about good sportsmanship, good values and good friendships. With so many kids interested in hockey, and rumors of other local rinks failing, I can't believe we can't give these kids the opportunity to play, right here in Hunterdon County.

My son has been playing hockey here for a few years now. He has learned to ice skate, and learned to play and love the game of hockey from the wonderful coaches that have worked with him. He is heartbroken at the thought that he won't be attending anymore.

This rink serves as a safe place of recreation for the kids to just hang out on a Friday night, plus serves hundreds of hockey players and figure skaters. Closing this rink will display all these kids & families. All of our money will leave the county to Mercer, Somerset or PA. We need to come up with a feasible plan to continue operating this rink for the future.

i go to this place whenever i want to go skating and don't have practice. it has such better ice than BSA and i can't see myself going anywhere else
