I know of 2 children in particular who have thrived here! It also offers a place for our tweens/teens to go instead of hanging out! Keep this venue for our children!

A well run community center can generate revenue and offer valued services to the people in the community. Not only would the closure of Aspen ice force families to go elsewhere for hockey and figure skating it will be one less attraction that many communities have for people relocating to the area. This facility has the potential to be much more than just an ice rink!

it would break my heart to see this place gone. My first kiss was here, along with my first date!! My little cousin grew as a beautiful champion figure skater here, and she also needs this rink along with the other skaters and hockey players.

Flemington is having no place for the kids to get together for them to bond. This is a place for kids to get together to ice skate, socialize with their friends and to get them active.

This ice rink has been a part of flemingtons society since it was built and it would be a shame to lose that. I've gone to aspen since it was built and continue to go there today. Flemington is a small town that doesn't offer much for young people to do, aspen gives them a healthy safe place to go and have fun.

Just look at Iceline in West Chester, IceWorks in Aston, SkateZone's, etc. Private rinks can be very successful!

Aspen Ice skating rink is huge part of so many kids. This children choose to stay fit and healthy as opposed to over-eat, do drugs or play computer games on the couch. Sport developed self esteem and leadership skills in our children. The friendship between our young athletes will last a lifetime. Coaches in this rink are real role models for our kids. Please help us by saving this rink for our children.
