taking away someone's right to an honest livelihood because of a past mistake is a criminal act in itself I don't know the guy who owns this studio but I support him in his efforts to provide for his family in his chosen profession

The Govt simply can not group all humans under the one umbrella when it comes to something like this. Yes, the law is a step in the right direction, but it's far from ideal and lazy in its execution.
If some short time is spent actually investigating this, you will see that Feel the Steel is a fair business being rubbed out unfairly

In this industry I too have found my one true passion . When I was 19 I was sentenced to 15 yrs in the Texas Dept. Of Corrections. 15yrs , that's a life time to some . I served time here and there . And in 2000 I decided I really wanted to make a living at what I considered a good trade . This was the hardest next 5 yrs . of my life in this industry . I had no apprenticeship. Finally after 5 yrs I was allowed to work in a tattoo studio. Then in 2007 having paid my debt to society I was released from parole and was a "free" man . You see here in Texas when you've "paid your debt " to society you're truly not free. I have a life sentence of sorts . I can't own a gun , I can't vote , I can't get certain jobs , can't join our military. ECT ECT .
On the bright side , I too have changed my ways . I am 44 yrs of age and am an award winning artist . Judged by the honorable grandfather of tattooing in a fair tattoo competition. Mr. Lyle Tuttle.
So you see , given I live on the other side of this planet I suspect we are all just human . We put our jeans on one leg at a time . We ALL make mistakes . Generally we ALL learn from said mistakes .

Mate if you have surved your dues put in place by our Government and nothing has happened since then, then you deserve the chance to shine in your chosen field in our great township of Richmond if you so choose. Lots of luck .
