I have been spending my nights talking to coaches and parents who are terrified about losing this community for our athletes. The silence from the board is frustrating but we are preparing our formal testimony for the next public meeting.

Seeing this kind of energy for the program confirms that I am not the only one who sees how much this sport means to our athletes. I spent so many years training in these gyms and it breaks my heart to imagine them going quiet. We have real momentum now so let's push forward to make sure the board understands what they are taking away.

Fix the budget elsewhere. Leave the athletics alone. Its barely any money compared to the waste in the admin offices.
Ridiculous decision. Cutting sports is the first thing they go for instead of looking at the bloat elsewhere. Save the program.
KEEP GYMNASTICS!! This is literally the only reason some of these girls stay in school.
Gymnastics gave me so much confidence in high school. Please dont take this away from the next generation of girls.
My daughter has been training for years for this. You cant just take away a sport so many girls worked hard for. Keep it in the budget.

These kids need these programs to stay active. Terrible idea to cut this.
