Given the cost savings breastfeeding gives the NHS it is absolutely despicable that the council would contemplate cutting funding to this service.

Bossom buddies is amazing, it has helped so many both mum's and dad's to learn how to navigate parenthood, surely a group meeting like this reduces the need for individual intervention of midwives and health visitors, saving money.

This group has been vital in supporting my sister through her first breastfeeding experiences. Breastfeeding is an incredibly healthy choice to make for your child and it would be a travesty for new mums in the Exmouth area to lose out on this support

This should be an essential service for all new mothers who want it. The health and emotional benefits for long term breastfeeding are well documented for mum and baby. To remove this service is extremely short sighted.

A service like this is essential for new and continuing bf mums. The emotional support and mental health impact alone will save many referrals to an already overstretched NHS. This provides overall more support than offered elsewhere. Would be travesty to not keep it open.
