Breastfeeding support is so, so essential - and can, in the long-term, also help reduce health problems for both Mums and babies, thereby reducing NHS burden/costs later in time.

This group was a lifeline to me - if it hadn't have been for them I wouldn't have been able to breastfeed my child, and my postnatal mental health issues would have gone unnoticed for much longer. I can not praise them enough. Please please save this group - all women should have access to quality, timely breastfeeding support, it can make a world of difference.

Short term gains create long term problems. Our little granddaughter would have died of starvation without intervention. Chikdren’s Centres need to be maintained and fully funded for all their projects.
